Climate change has become a pressing environmental problem across the world. The inherent global nature of climate change has led to the domination of international negotiations and national commitments as the major mitigation tools. However, literature provides concrete evidence that national governments have failed to circumvent the continuing greenhouse gases (GHG) and mitigate climate change.
